Sega Rally will encourage players to put the pedal to the metal and enjoy thrilling head-to-head racing. Skilled driving will go hand-in-hand with pure luck as you hurtle around looping tracks in a wide selection of 4WD, 2WD & Classic vehicles that react quite differently depending upon the racing surface. Sega Rally offers a vast variety of fully deformable environments and surfaces, from littered gravel tracks, all weather tarmac roads, to snow driven trails - no two laps will never be the same.
Players rallying skills will be tested to the limit as aside from the sleek motors on offer, Sega Rally also offers players an advanced AI that takes into account the racing surface to adapt their driving style to suit. Single player and multiplayer split screen, along with online capabilities will offer race fans an unbelievably competitive and first class driving experience.

Manufacturer's Description
The introduction of SEGA Rally to the arcades in 1995 had the single biggest impact on the racing genre. Subsequent console rally games concentrated on a realistic simulation of the sport, but their popularity, reflected in sales, steadily dropped over the last decade. Now, SEGA Rally is back and set to reinvigorate the genre with the vital ingredients that many of the modern racers lack fun, character and beauty, with few rally games able to match its unique and rewarding experience. Rally's dead, long live SEGA Rally.
Customer Reviews
Very good fun!!
Think of Sega Rally as Ridge racer in mud and you get the idea. It's track racing ala PGR, Forza etc, but in rally environments. There is track deformation which adds a dimension to the game.
30 odd cars to collect with a few liveries for each. 12 or so courses + reverse versions. It's a fun blast in the mud. Don't expect it to keep you occupied for hours every night for weeks. This is not a deep game with masses of cars and tracks like PGR, but it is good fun, and pretty challenging on the harder levels too.
I would recommend it, though it probably won't be long before you can pick it up cheap in the trade in section, as it's fairly simplistic and certain types of gamer will play this for a week then trade it in. If you are one of those types, it's probably better to rent it.
This is all based on the retail version of the game, not the demo.
Download Demo NOW!!!
Just finished playing and smiling widely at this gem of a demo!! Ok music is a bit arcady ie loud and crash bang wallop , graphics very arcady ie bright and colouful , the track has sides ( so you cant fall into ravine or water ) so realists you can leave now!! BUT , FUN is its first middle and last name , having traded Dirt / Forza 2 , nice looks and heaps of options, but online either full of serious petrol heads or whingers , ooh stop nudging me.. ohh you cheat etc..this is what us normals have been waiting for ,full on racing FUN and by golly the 360 needs some games which make you smile. IF the online is up to the job , please please!!, it will be a wonderful slidey shunty speedy super doopah game. I'll see you on the track people :) .. a must buy!!
Will collect dust
As other reviewers have said, its not very good!
The menus are too basic and long winded. Car handling is absolutely terrible. Its like the wheels are turning on the back instead of the front. There is no way to adjust the sensitivity of steering, so your pretty much stuck with it.
I haven't tried Colin Mcrae, but Sega Rally is proabably not going back in my machine!
