What is Teflon® Woven Fabric and how does it work?
Teflon® Woven Fabric is a unique material made of 100% non-static Teflon® woven fibres. Highly durable it can withstand extreme temperatures. It is also waterproof and chemical resistant with a non stick, low friction surface. With Remington’s Protect & Shine High Protection Fabric straightener the robust Teflon® Woven Fabric material is wrapped around ceramic and tourmaline styling plates, providing a highly protective barrier between the hair and the heated plates, thereby considerably limiting heat damage. The unique non flat micro fibre weave of Teflon® Fabric grips and cushions the hairs as they pass over the surface of the straightener, ensuring that only ‘soft pressure’ is put upon the hair. This new styling process completely differs to conventional straighteners which typically utilise high heat, metal plates. These unprotected metal plates totally block the movement of the hair, allowing very little flexibility during the styling process. This forceful pressure can lead to sharp bends or kinks being moulded into the hair, which over time, can result in split ends and hair damage. In addition, the direct interaction between the hair and the metal plates can also cause structural damage in the form of moisture loss and hair bubbles – effects which are a particular problem for women who regularly heat style.

I've had nearly all the hair straighteners from Remington and this one is amazing. I got these for my birthday and use it every day!

Instead of leaving your hair nice and shiny then within 3 hours it looking greesy, this one leaves your hair shiny, really soft, loads of volume and it does not go greesy! amazing! >_<

the fabric on the plates (like a black tough woven material) has a nice smell too when it heats up! (its not my hair)

You can adjust the heat and it heats up almost instantly.

It has a really long flexible cord and a little stand sorta thing on the straightener so you dont burn whatever you put it on!

It also comes with a funky little bag.

Super straight! -eners!!
I have had these straighteners for a week or so now, and at first I was a little sceptical...after all...they were really cheap compared to some other brands. After my first use I absolutely loved them! My hair has a natural kink and usually this reappears towards the end of the day after straightening in the morning....but not with these straighteners! They leave your hair feeling silky, smooth and poker straight! They are great value for money and I have already recommended them to my mates. A great buy!!

I've had these straighteners a few weeks now, it's my first pair and i love them, my hairs not very curly more wavy, but once I've used the straighteners my hair stays nice and straight for days, it doesn't go greasy, definitely a good buy, great price.
