Excellent iPod dock for a HiFi system
I wanted a discreet iPod attachement to provide the music source to my Quad hifi setup. Due to wifely insistence the whole thing has to be concealed in a cupboard - so the only thing on show had to be the iPod. This device fits the bill brilliantly. Small, neat and with remote control included I'm more than pleased with it. It charges the iPod too! The only thing I don't really like is the blue LED that's always on. But that's a minor niggle. Excellent value!

Warning - not universal!
This looks a nice enough product, but I had to return it as it does not charge my Generation 2 iPod Touch. I'm afraid its claim to be universal is a little suspect.

No video for iTouch
Quite disapppointed with this as there is no video support for iTouch. Maybe this is more an issue with Apple than this item but it would have influenced us if it had stated this in the specs. Music plays fine and it works as a docking station. We have tried an iPod classic which does play the video although the screen size requires fiddling. None of the controls can be displayed on screen so its still a matter of getting up close and personal to get everything organized. We're not using it for much more than docking as a result but maybe when we get more time to get it sorted...
