Superb
This really was reality TV before it meant rubbish like Big Brother. Not quite documentary, not quite drama, it would be more apt to describe this as a highly engaging social experiment.

Placing moden day people into a huge country mansion and seeing how they cope with the Edwardian hierachy and restrictions is simply a joy to watch, largely due to the wonderful characters: from the grandad figure or Mr Edgar, to cheeky halboy Kenny, the lovely footmen Rob and Charlie, you really engage with these people - perhaps more so then the family they are serving.

The series really is difficult to switch off when you get started and the ending is very poignant. I wonder what they are all getting up to now? Rob, if you're reading this - I'd marry you tomorrow!
