Editorial Reviews

CD Description
Third album from young, prodigiously talented Orlando, FL metallers follows their 2005 Roadrunner debut 'Ascendancy', which saw them lauded in the metal press as one of the best new bands in the world, and has sold over 100,000 copies in the UK alone. Fusing the speed and technical proficiency of old-school thrash with the power and aggression of modern metalcore, their rabid fanbase and great critical reception will ensure that this is a popular release. Includes the single'Anthem (We Are The Fire)'.

POOR not Trivium at all1
Trivium's previous album, Ascendency, was great, proper good metal. Now they've gone and tried to be Metallica, and it doesn't work. They have completely changed their style and the screaming was part of them. I was bitterly dissapointed with this poor album start to finish and soon gave it away. If people want metallica they'll buy metallica SORT IT OUT Trivium

Didn't like the "Screaming years"3
So gave this one a chance. More melodic, lyrics are sung, instruments well played but... I wouldn't say I was a fan so don't have the "investment" that others have made in the band from the start, so taking this album on its own merits it's good, but yes, it sounds too much like Metallica to attain the heights. Maybe that's the only way the singer CAN sing - so change him for the next album perhaps? Mind you loads of people have bought the album so at least Metal is the winner! Heh! Heh!

EXCELLENT5
Wow this is amazing. i have been into this music for over 20 years now but lately have been bored with some of the music coming out so to hear trivium bring another killer album out is excellent. this is definatly in my eyes album of 2006
