49 years and counting5
It is an amazing fete that The Osmond Brothers have been in showbiz for almost half a century, but they really have. Following a successful tour alongside fellow 70s hit makers David Essex, David Cassidy and Les McKeown's Legendary Bay City Rollers and a record breaking summer season in Blackpool in 2005, The Osmonds (Merrill, Wayne, Jay and Jimmy) returned to the UK for a month long tour early in 2006 which weaved back and forth across the country. Towards the end of the sell out tour this concert at Hammersmith was recorded especially for DVD. The brothers performed a truly spectacular show to fans who had waited over 20 years for this tour. Those fans were not disappointed, all the hits were there, plus numerous album favourites. Also, the lads seemed amazed at the enthusiasm of the audience after such a long time since their last major tour.
This performance featured a very special moment as elder brother Alan flew in from America to take part in the show. He no longer tours as he suffers with MS.

This DVD is a great momento for fans of the group, and will also serve as a training module to any boy bands out there as The Osmonds are never less than true professionals.

I love The Osmonds!5
This DVD is AMAZING! I can't say i've been an Osmond fan since the 70's as Im only 17, but I am still as huge as those fans! I think all of the brothers are extremely gifted and talented people and at the end of the DVD when Alan appears and is so overwhelmed by the crowd, and has tears in his eyes, you just know that they truley love what they do, and still appreciate the loyal fans! I loved every song on this DVD- especially Jay's drum solo- hes amazing- the best drummer in the world! There also a varity of songs from their classic hits, to Jimmy's most famous songs to their country hits- which are excellent! I did'nt think I would enjoy it as much as I did as Donny did'nt tour with them- but how wrong could I have been! I just wish the would release this DVD as a live CD as I want to buy CDs with songs such as One way Rider and all the country ones- and can't really find any? But this is a must have DVD and just shows how amazing they still are! Its a shame there are not many other sings like them around!

Nobody does it better5
This is simply a must for anyone who enjoyed the 2006 UK tour of The Osmonds. For all those who adored them in the 70s to the children & parents of all fans. The Osmonds are sheer classy performers - great fun, professional - the passage of years has not diminished any of their talent or attraction - if anything they have improved with age. They perform hits and medleys from their albums, everything from rock, pop, bubble gum, country to gospel. The concert also includes a surprise appearance by Alan Osmond the elder of the brothers who no longer performs due to ill health. He received a rapturous ovation and for the night relished partaking of a few numbers with his brothers. The concert rates in the best night out ever category & now can be relived in my home as many often as I like.
The Osmonds are truly special - this DVD cannot fail to please.
