Not for the mature student
First of all my wife asked me to pen this, she is new to Pilates and was advised to buy this, being mature she found it hard and felt you should not be allone while doing the exersise, The DVD is in the charity shop and she goes to classes only now, she adds it must be her age(retired a while)

A brilliant CD
This CD really works for me. It's practical, well presented and gives you a choice of level to work at (Especially good on bad hair days!). You can see the movements from different angles which is very useful, so you can be sure you are doing the moves corectly. The pace is great - not too fast, not too slow and Lindsey really manages to pass on her real enthusiasm as well as her skill. I like the fact that the "models" are real people. It feels like you are part of a regular class, so you get really involved. I really recommend it whatever standard you're at.

Highly recommended
I tried it out together for the first time with my 10 year old daughter. We both found it fun and surprisingly challenging, and although I do yoga regularly, I woke up the next day just slighly sore. The format is very friendly: Each excercise is demonstrated at 3 different levels, which was extremely useful when we sometimes had to admit we need to go down a level. The explanations are very clear, and the teacher (is that how they should be called on a DVD?) has a very natural style that is very pleasant. The demonstrators are surprisingly human-looking, seem to really be working hard, and even sweat. And lastly, the relaxation was lovely, and my daughter even managed to fall asleep. Highly recommended!
