    gorgeous, pity about the sound5
Well, to be fair the sound is ok, nice Bass response, the treble is Er,very treblely, and it's Nicam stereo. But "IT AIN'T LOUD ENOUGH" I mean 3watts output, what's(or should I say Watts )that all about Samsung, my doorbell's louder than that. I bought this TV for use in my kitchen but find that when the kettle's boiling or the microwave is on I have to turn the volume to almost maximum, there's nothing in reserve, and I do like to have plenty of power in reserve just in case, perhaps I should get a quieter kettle. I couldn't recommend it for use in a large lounge/bedroom or if you live under a flightpath, unless you like using headphones. BUT,on the plus side,What a gorgeous looking piece of equipment,I could look at it for hours even when it's switched off. oh! yes and the picture is stunning.Setup is easy, the Menu is excellent and I got it a 100 quid cheaper than a well known retailer beginning with C. and did I mention how good looking it is. 4.5 stars really

    samsung 19" lcd tv4
works really well with a dvd player and the picture quality is good especially watching a war movie, works slightly worse as normal tv using freeview but is good compared to the old style tv's, sound is alright but i recommend having extra speakers as the sound isnt that loud, the stand can also spin around to become a wall mount which is really useful as wall mount kits can cost a lot, all in all a cool looking quirky tv that works great in a bedroom.

also works good as pc monitor

    Snappy little TV!4
I have read reviews of the white version of this product where people have been less than complimentary because 'it's small' or the quality wasn't perfect. But you know what? I live in a small flat in a big city with a front room which is probably as big as most people's large bedroom, and this TV work's fine in there - plenty of screen and a nice wide viweing angle to keep everyone happy.

The TV is very easy to set up - I pretty much dug it out of the box, matched all the plugs to their respective places and immediatelely it was finding the broadcast channels. When I later attached a Freeview box, it immediately found it and added it to the list. It is very easy to flip between free-to-air and Freeview by pressing the TV source button in the top right.

The menu is dead easy to use with quick access to determining where the source of video is coming from, the colour, sound and type of viewing. There were some minor problems(???) with "Auto-wide" where the edge of the picture might get clipped if the program is being broadcast in 4:3 viewing format. Also, if you (like me) can't stand people being stretched out like crushed dwarves, then your viewing screen is reduced from 19" to about 17" when you go to 4:3 viewing.

The picture quality - as far as I can tell - is fine, at least as good as any analog TV and when the broadcast is of high quality, so is the picture. Sometimes, it seems to be a little oversaturated inj colour and I have settled for the colour settings being on 'Cool tones 1" - but then it seems to be the broadcast material as much as anything else because if I flip to another channel, the supersaturated colours disappear - as they may do at the end of the program as well.

I imagine those who like loud sound might want to add some speakers to this TV (its all set up for stereo). Unfortunately, they loaded the speakers on the back, so the sound can be a bit faint coming out of the TV (one reason maybe not to have this TV in a very large room???) and I would frequently have it jacked up to just under half the maximum capacity (which is a bit high by usual TV standards).

There are 4 colour buttons along the bottom of remote which make it easy to switch between sound, colour and TV viewing formats.

All in all, I like this TV. It's a fine bedroom TV (as many people have said about the white version) but its also a very good TV for people with small front rooms and you won't be disappointed with it.
