Great TV.
I love this TV, but I paid waaaay too much for it. I paid £500 from Comet just over a year ago, and was gutted to see it online for practically half that.
Anyway, to the TV. It has a great picture, pretty good sound, and looks cool. I use it for my PC, my Wii and Ps2. It performs brilliantly with everything I've tried on it though. Despite this, I only give it a 4, because it has no freeview built in. If you can find this TV for under £200, I say go for it, otherwise you can get newer models for around £240.
A great buy
After purchasing a ps3 i went searching for an hdtv for my bedroom. I looked at most tv's and by far i found this to be superior. This tv was far cheaper than most and when i recieved my tv i was immediatly impressed with the look of it. It looks great and so does the picture. The HD picture is fantastic on a console and after 2 weeks im still amazed at its quality.
I also noticed the huge amount of inputs at the back, it has even more than i expected on a 23" tv. I was used to playing on a smaller tv but it still looks big for its screen size. The only problem with this tv is it sound which but that can easily be sorted with a decent set of 2.1 speakers (though once you have had it for a while you don't really notice it). Overall i am extremely impressed with this tv i would recommend it to anyone searching for a second tv for a bedroom/kitchen.
Great tv but cannot use this for dual screen on a pc
I have a dual screen setup for my pc, but my dell lcd tv/ moitor blew so I decided to buy a new one. As a tv its great I have no complaints. But connection wise for a pc it only has a d-sub VGA connector and no DVI. My has both connections which is why i managed to have a dual screen setup, but adding the samsung means that i cannot use my other smaller remaining lcd monitor. i have tried several ways of fising the problem but it will not work. I even purchased an d-sub to dvi adapator but have been unsuccessful. I don't understand why samsung didnt put a dvi connection in place, as they are widely used.
My primary aim of purchase was so i could use it for my pc and work more effectively with two screens, i cannot do this however, which is the reason for my giving 3 stars
