Editorial Reviews
Amazon.co.uk Review
With a voice like Stevie Wonder, a production sound that recalls the string-laden, slinky-bass disco of Studio 54 and a penchant for funky dance moves and outlandish hats, Jamiroquai's Jay Kay has successfully managed to straddle the underground and mainstream for the best part of 15 years. High Times brings together 19 of his band's hits to date, ranging from early 90s acid jazz classics "When You Gonna Learn", "Too Young To Die" and "Blow Your Mind", to later successes such as "Canned Heat", "Cosmic Girl", "Virtual Insanity" and on to recent songs from 2005 album Dynamite, such as "Feels Just Like It Should" and "7 Days In Sunny June". There are also two new tracks - the current single "Runaway" and the edgier "Radio", both of which continue the Jamiroquai tradition of mildly euphoric dancefloor disco-soul. Despite sticking to a formula of sorts over the years, the songs on this collection compliment each other well and form an impressive overview of one of the UK’s most distinctive bands.--Danny McKenna

FUNKIN FAB
Jamiroquai aside from being one of the most innovative bands of the last decade and the pioneers of what was known as "acid Jazz" release their greatest hits album High Times.
If you are new to Jamiroquai, where have you been ! If not then this is a fantastic collection of the singles which should induct you into the space cowboys unique sound !
Practically all the singles are here and it's one of those must have's really, even if you do own the albums !
so click buy and when it arrives pour yourself a good drink sit back and funk away on this masterful blend of grooves from the king of funksters Jamiroquai !
the greatest hits from the best funk band ever!
ok ive been a fan of jamiroquai since the nineties and own all there albums, the reason i bought this is because some of the tracks are different to the album versions such as space cowboy etc there basically the single versions that you hear on the radio, it also includes a bonus cd with all the dance remixes which is a good listen for people who like dance music, so for all you die-hard jamiroquai fans like me who own all there albums it is still worth buying!
if your new to jamiroquai however then were have you been for the past 16 years!
Rip Off!
Yes, they are one of the classiest bands around, and yes, the albums bar 2001's, "A Funk Odyssey" are damn cool to say the least. Do we really need, then, however, to buy a collection of shortened radio versions of these tracks when a fan such as I has all the albums anyway? It really is a bit of a scam(an excellent track) but if you're a completist, get it.
