Now HERE'S how it's done...5
Not only do we have here a master of improvisation who many agree has now eclipsed his own hero Billy Connolly in terms of story-telling skill, and connects with the audience like no other comedian in the country-perhaps the world-today, but unlike some other acts, Ross Noble sure offers value for money in his DVD's.

Despite his huge success, his shows have not changed in their surreal rambling style, and he never seems out-of-touch with his fans (like, sadly Connolly occasionally does these days).

And as for his DVD's, well never let it be said that he doesn't make them worth every penny. Unlike the appalling behaviour of people like Peter Kay, who release a show from the same tour featured in an old DVD, and can pretend you are getting something new just because it was filmed in a different venue, Ross Noble's shows are ALLWAYS totally different, not just from tour-to-tour, but from gig-to-gig.

You never know what you will get when watching a new Ross Noble DVD, and if you were ever lucky enough to be able to see more that one show in one of his sell-out tours, you would be guaranteed a different experience each time.

And as if that's not enough, he adds HOURS of extra material to his DVD's, which will also be guaranteed fresh, new stuff you will have never seen before.

Randomist is his biggest DVD package yet, and although some of the extra footage seems a little hard to hear at times, this just adds to the feeling of it been live and un-planned...and with not one repeated joke, or re-told story in six hours-worth of bonus footage, who cares about how it was filmed? Just turn up the volume, and enjoy a master at work.

Obviously, with so much footage to watch, finding just one or two jokes that I feel stand out is just about impossible, as there are so many great moments. But rest assured, if you like Ross but haven't seen this yet, you will be delighted with it, and if you've never seen him before but like the surrealness of Eddie Izzard or the rambling story-telling style of early Billy Connolly, and are looking for something new, then I can confidently recommend Ross Noble to any comedy fan.

The Randomist does it again5
This is Ross Noble's third DVD and his biggest yet. A four disc extravaganza from his Randomist tour which covers the UK, Scottish Highlands and Australia.

Included in the four discs are his homecoming show at the City Hall in Newcastle, Melbourne, Stoke and Birmingham (four shows no less)and a variety of backstage and on tour footage which offer an insight as to what life on the road is like with the Geordie comic.

On this tour, Ross appears to be on top form, and I honestly cannot remember the last time I laughed so loud and hard at a stand up show. The best thing about Ross is that the whole show can be a build up to a joke that he starts telling at the beginning then delivers at the end, but the tangents and distractions that have him veering in wildly different directions through the course of the show have you splitting your sides and tears running down your cheeks. He takes us on a rollercoaster ride through his thoughts and impulses, and interacts with the audience in a way that I have seen few other comedians do.

Now you may think that with all the shows being from the same tour, then a lot of the jokes may be repeated, but in actual fact, mostly because of the above reason, very few actually are. Its great to watch each show and see vastly different content.

The fact that this release has four shows, tons of tour footage and hidden easter eggs that result in about 9 hours of some of the funniest stand up you will see this year and possibly the next and the next...mean that for this price, it's a must buy for any Ross Noble fan, or any stand up fan for that matter.

He Does It Again...Fantastic5
I've waited all year for Noble's next DVD release, and he couldnt of picked a better show to release next! Having attended the Randomist Tour personally in Newcastle (and having met Ross, (He's a great bloke)) this show is hilarious! Off the cuff and every performance of his tour's are always different thanks to some unintentional hilarious audience participation, this show will have you laughing for the duration! Noble's comedy is genius and well thought even in the mili-seconds he has to come up with alot of it! He is highly unique and this show is as strong as his other two DVD releases. That this is a 4 Disc boxset is fantastic and more than i expected, I'd advise everyone to buy the 4 disc version rather than the single randomist DVD just because you WILL want to see more and more of this guy! A must for anyone in the world who just needs a laugh or a good nights (or in this case days) entertainment! Thankyou ROSS!
