Spot on (Better than the AVA album)
+44's debut feels like Mark and Travis are picking up where Blink 182 left off... except not.

It's got the trademark punk-rock/pop-punk stylings that Blink had, but there are electronic undertones and to be honest... catchier songs than Blink 182's last release.

For someone like me who enjoys a range of music (metal, punk rock, pop, electronica, ska...) this is a great up-tempo album with some good upbeat tracks.

Songs like 'When Your Heart Stops Beating', 'Lycanthrope' and 'No It Isn't' stand out most on the first listen. Some songs don't make as much of an impression at first, but they'll grow on you with time!

This is a great debut from Mark and Travis's new project and I'm sure they'll do very well with their next album.

Overall, this is a brilliant feel-good, upbeat cd that's got quite a few tracks that would sound great blasting from a car whilst speeding down a motorway. If you liked Blink 182's last release, you should definatley get this!!

Absolutely breathtaking
Seriously, this album will be one of the best I will ever own. I went to the guys show in London when they came for their 2nd ever show and their 1st UK one. Got the t-shirt :). These guys are immense, their first single isnt my favorite of the album but wait until songs such as 'little death' starting being played. These songs are absolutely immense and its great to think that all the songs are about Marks life after blink. It's a real album to listen to lyrically as well as the great drumming and guitar work from the others. My view is get hold of their album as these guys will be big. Well I hope so anyway.

This is a winner!!
Anybody put off by the fact that the last album to come out of blink was a bit samey and repetitive should take no notice as plus 44 is more than a class above AVA.Not sayin that i didnt enjoy 'We Dont Need To Whisper' but 'When your Heart Stops Beating' is up their with the best if not better than previous 182 albums.
It starts off hard with 'Lycanthrope' but it twists and turns through acoustic and electro pop tunes whilst keeping hold of all that we know n love about travis n mark...pure punk rock pop at its finest.Tracks like '155' and the title track are genius whilst the duet on 'Make you smile' is something different and yet brilliant.
A real must for any lover of music and also for those that like to see progression in bands.
