If you liked the Beyonce 'Deja Vu' remix you'll love this...
Freemasons have become the best remixes in dance music in less than two years thanks to their inspirational use of strings, piano and bass. Their remix of Beyonce's 'Deja Vu' was just fantastic and this album has ALL of their big remixes from the past two years including Faith Evans 'Mesmerized', Luther Vandross 'Shine', Loleatta Holloway 'Love Sensation' and Blaze 'Most Precious Love'. Also on this double CD are their own hits - 'Love On My Mind' has been one of the biggest anthems of the past two years and their follow up 'Watchin' was just as good. Their next single 'Rain Down Love' will probably be their biggest single yet, I hope so, it's simply amazing. There's loads of other new tracks on here too including a great cover versions of Rose Royce's 'Love Don't Live Here Anymore' with Judie Tzuke on vocals. There's even five mp3 bonus tracks which make 33 tracks in total.
If you want the best house party this christmas all you need is this CD - it has everything - great house rhythms, great songs and great atmosphere
I've played it about 10 times through already and I've only had it a week.

House never sounded so uplifting
I've fallen away from 'Dance' music some distance the past five years...around 1997-99 I was heavily into trance, although that now seems to be rather passe.

So House music, surely, more so.

Freemasons, however, buck that trend.

They're not doing anything particularly experimental (although mention must be made of the way they've taken particularly mundane and dull songs and electrify them (not least with Beyonce)), but what they do, they do with energy, panache, and so much drive every single track gets deep into your guts and compels you to dance.

One quick cautionary note: this is not an album to be played quietly or in those more reflective moments. No, this is a life-affirming, dance-demanding album.

I can't stop listening to this album in the car.

If you only buy one CD in 2007 - THIS IS THE ONE TO GET :)
This CD is currently sitting proud on the dashboard of my car, i just can't bring myself to change it for anything else .. i got it the day it went on Sale & you'd honestly have thought it was the first time i'd ever heard music, i just LOVE IT, especially FAITH EVANS - MESMERISED i could drive for hours listening to that on repeat but then it would be such a waste of the rest of the CD to do so, plus CD2 is even better .. i urge EVERYONE who enjoys uplifting, blast from the past mixes to buy this NOW - YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED - Funky House at its very BEST -*Smiles*
