Customer Reviews
Daniel Is brilliant
When i bought this DVD, I didn't buy it to work out with, I just bought it because i love Daniel Whiston, but as a sat there watch it i thought "I can do this!" It was simple and straight forward. Thats how it looks, don't get me wrong there's no complicated moves and you can take it as hard or as easy as you want too. But the Skaters bum routine kills. I limped for about 4 days as i thought it was a good idea to go for it full power, but now its not bad at all i love it, Dan's a great host and he doesn't make you feel like you should be able to do everything, but he pushes you and Gaynor adds the down to earth comic value.
Great DVD I love it, I get hot a sweaty with Daniel most nights!!!
Good - but could be better
I loved the first few sections of this DVD. The warm ups good and they really work your arms, legs and bum which was also very good. The cardio section was also excellent. However, the cool down was rubbish and there were no sit-ups at all!!! I will use this DVD again but when they do their cool down i will do 5 mins of sit-ups and 5 mins of my own stretches that i have learned from other DVD's. Saying that i really did enjoy the first 40 mins of this DVD. Worth buying if you know how to do proper stretches and include your own sit-ups.
Straightforward and fun
I have never watched Dancing on Ice but I bought this because I like Gaynor Faye - she comes across as 'real' and doesn't disappoint on the DVD. The exercises are simple but challenging, so it's easy to pick up, and you can do them all to whatever intensity you can manage (occasionally stationary in my case, but hey...)
Gaynor and Daniel are entertaining and encouraging and I ached just enough the day after to make me feel it was worthwhile yet that I was capable of doing it again!
