Eye Tv for imac (or any other) and OSX
I was a little dubious. Plug in and the telly will come to life on your mac with an EPG and the menu will look like front row etc..

Sounded like a little bit of marketing spiel to me. However after 6 months of deciding not to buy it we decided to move the 20" imac to the bedroom as I was hogging it in the study. Naturally a hybrid was a safe bet in case the digital reception was pants.

Loaded the cd, plugged in the widget to the wall and OMG great reception, ease of use in bucket loads and so simple. Quality is great but more than anything -want to record your favourite programmes and manage where they are stored etc its all here and on your mac. The interface is better than Sky and pretty too but loads of options and hours of viewing fun. Not a bad mix of channels either where we are and I understand the list is forever expanding..

The mac was always a bit special and 3 dimensional compared to 2d PC's anyway -but to now add this cheap little widget has created a 4 d entertainment centre. 2 downsides which are minor (hence the not 5 stars)
1. the widget runs hot -(and thats it)
2. on a 20" imac the full screen mode is only any good from 2 metres away as the quality is on the edge - so make sure your bed is at least 2m from the screen.. If you have a 17" then I should thin all will be well if you have a 24" however stop showing off and resize at will!!

Other than that -tip top and dead chuffed - even my wife loves it and she hates the gadgets!!
