For some of them the model name/number will only be present on the packaging and instruction manual and not on the product itself. Should this information ever get misplaced, a four digit type number, which is imprinted on all Braun products, can be used to determine the appropriate part(s) for your product.

The type or model number can usually be found in the following places on a Braun Shaver: On the back of the shaver, on the shaver housing under the cutterblock or under the long-hair trimmer.

Does the job
Replacing my old cassette with a fresh one gave a noticeable improvement to cutting and gliding over my skin. Weird, but it works.

Arrived quickly and as advertised (the cassette = foil + cutter in one integrated block). Easy to install and made a difference after 18 months of having the other cassette in there.

Worth It!
I was surprised how much difference the new foil made - really does restore 'as new' performance, makes shaving much more comfortable and although I was rather dubious about the cost (although it's as cheap on Amazon as anywhere else) I think it's worth it to keep a very good electric razor in A1 condition.
