Cokin P-filter
I brought one of these years ago for my SLR and took it with me on my gap-year travels. I took a variety of lenses which is a pain when your traveling. Buying filters for each different lens would have been very expensive! The Cokin filer system is very good but it can be a little fiddly to fit. Especially when its windy and your on a rock face meaning it can be quite frustrating to put onto your camera, as well as trying not to fall to your death (But then perhaps this wasn't the best time to take a photo! :)).

You'll need patience when using Cokin but it will be the best system and best buy for your photography.

I would highly recommend!
