Does not work with ipod classic
Bought this item and it was delivered quicky, No complains there, however please be aware that this cable and others of this type do not work with iPod Classic.

I tried for while to get it to work and after a little research on the net found out that iPod Classics need a different connector (ouput from the base connector of the ipod not the earphone socket) to connect to the TV.

Almost great
The cable does what it's supposed to do and does it quite well. Really, it depends on the quality of video that you're trying to watch. Podcasts look okay, high quality mp4 files look... well, like high quality mp4 files. The only real downside is that the 3.5mm jack takes a tiny bit of fiddling for the video to output properly. Not a big deal, and especially for the price (I paid £1.99, but the price seems to have risen).

If you want to encode mp4 movies and watch them on your TV easily, buy this.

Does not work with new generation ipods
The new ipods apparently have chips in them that require Apple cables to unlock and let the tv output work. I bought this for my ipod classic 120g and it doesn't work. My bad for not doing more research but also- it doesn't say not compatible. So be careful.
