Manufacturer's Description
Do you sometimes dream of being a vet doctor? With the game My Vet Practice this dream can come true. Build up your own practice, decide when to build which building and which patient to treat. Every day people come to you with their animals, guinea pigs, rabbits, budgerigars, cats, dogs and even horses. Sometimes it can even be necessary to accommodate the animals and take care of them for a couple of days, so that they get well and happy again quickly. Therefore you can build extra stables and accomodations. Feeding, playing with the pets, bear company, but also cleaning up and the daily treatment are your duties. For very demanding horse-patients, you can experience interesting things about horse whispering. But although the work with pets is a lot of fun, even the best vet doctor needs some time out. Then you take your own horse and go for a long ride at the beach, on meadows and fields or through the nearby forest. Stock up new energy to become the best vet doctor of all time.

Fab for animal lovers
I think this game is good because you can go to town and get the things you need. You can get animals like rabbits, guinneapigs, budgies, dogs, cats and even horses! Sometimes it gets very bussy in the surgery and you have to concentrate. If you keep your customers waiting too long they get fed up and walk out.You find out what's wrong with the animal and then you treat it. I think this game is great for people who love animals.
Good game but can seem a bit boring at first
I got this game for my 7yr old daughter, at first she said she didn't like it and said it was boring but after a few times playing it she really got into it. The idea is to work hard to earn money by treating the animals and making them better, the only thing is there are quite big words when you have to diagnose the animals so she had to keep asking what it meant as she couldn't understand medical terms! When you get good at it and earn money you can buy extensions to your vet practice which will allow you to treat bigger animals like cats, dogs and horses. Overall not bad in the end but the game makers could have used simple words to describe treatments and medications so that children can easily understand them!
Boring
I had high hopes for this game. I thought it would have animal rescues, operations......you know, the usual vet stuff.
I was sadly mistaken.
First of all i was shocked by how poor the graphics were compared to most games. The camera was zoomed extremely far out and showed the vet and the practice that was only made up of some sims-style cutaway walls. i was than left wondering what to do as potential patients take quite a while to arrive.
However when they did finally arrive, it didn't get much better. The touch screen was poorly used, no stroking of the animals, no actual incisions using the stylus....just point and click. so boring.
Overall i found this very dissapointing. Do not buy for children. It would probably take them 5 minutes to get bored.
