Amazon should not stock this product1
An utterly apalling piece of kit. As has been mentioned previously, the instructions are woeful, but even with clear and concise instructions, the fact remains that this would have one fatal flaw...it scratches rather than repairs discs.

CD Destroyer1
So my Gamecube Zelda game is now totally unplayable, the disc is no longer recognised thanks to this piece of equipment. The instructions are woeful. Let me put it this way, in the same way as bleach could be said to help with acne (i.e. not only would it get rid of your spots, but also most of your skin) this could also be said to help with scratches. Avoid like the plague.

Agreement.....1
Yeah I agree with the above review..... Although it did not ruin my CDs.... it does close you just need to wiggle it so that the lid clicks down (without a disc in it does not close.... I do not know why - presumably a pressure thing - but it is designed that way) however you have to be really gentle with it or you over do the scratching and it takes too much off (i.e. the temption is to spin the disc really hard but slowly and gently is the order of the day).....

I did a couple (of discs) but the effect was not good and a bit alarming.... (as I am looking to sell my discs on Ebay the cosmetic effect is important and this does totally ruin the look of the cd) I no longer use it.

I binned it and now use the Skip Dr Automax, which is a fabulous piece of kit.

In essence you get what you pay for and the price drop should indicate something to you, it is 10% of the price of the Skip Dr but I would say that it does not represent better value for money.....
