Cracking 12v multipurpose TFT
I can't believe the amount of thought that has gone into this TFT !
There are SCART/Composite inputs. The VGA input is clear and of good quality, though the starting colours are a little bright. There is also a built in PC speaker connector. The built in DVD is not bad quality either. USB and SD card inputs could come in very handy too, playing MP3s etc also works with data CDs. I would say that the only downside is no DVB tuner, or no HDMI connector, but I'm sure there is one in the pipeline if you can wait that long.
The best thing is that this little beauty runs on 12 volts ! Ideal for vision on the move. Camper van or boat, this is brilliant. I know what I am going to be watching movies on when the power goes out.
The price and package is real good value. All in all excellent !
Pleasantly surprised!
Having been a lover of CRT and never having been convinced of the merits of flat-panel TV's, I ordered this as a 2nd set for the bedroom.
Whilst I still maintain that my Toshiba has a flawless picture, I will concede a little and say how pleased/impressed I am with this Daewoo! Very stylish, a decent amount of connections neatly hidden behind a panel at the back, good picture, comprehensive remote and well finished.
I still won't break and replace my lounge CRT with a plasma or LCD, but I have bent a little! I recommend this screen as a 2nd unit...
