Customer Reviews
So much better than the wired one,
I wasn't sure about buying this at first because there weren't any reviews, which is why i'm writing one. This controller is made by the same company as the guitars that come with the games so it is official, not a cheap cash in. The guitar is a slightly different shape to the wired guitar that comes with guitar hero 1, but it is no less comfortable to hold. This guitar has all the same buttons as the wired ones. However the fret buttons are the other way round, so where as on the wired guitar the curved edge faces down when you are holding it, and the flat edge of the button faces up, on the wireless guitar the curved edge faces up and the flat edge faces down, however this makes no real difference and you don't notice it whilst playing. The guitar comes with a small white wireless reciever which plugs into the console. The is no lag between pressing a button on the controller and it being pressed on the screen, which is crucial in this sort of game. The guitar takes 3 AAA batteries, which are included with the guitar. I'm not sure how long the batteries will last but I havn't had to change mine yet and i've been playing it a lot for the past week.
This Guitar is a lot better than the wired one, where as the wired guitar had a longer wire than normal controllers it is so much easier to play with. So basicaly if you are wanting a second controller for multiplayer, or even if you havn't got the game yet buy this and get the game seperately instead of getting the game boxed with a guitar.
2nd guitar
I bought this guitar as a 2nd for us to play multiplayer mode. It's reaaallyy fun and the guitar was really in a good condition and is working even better than the one I bought in the GH3 bundle. If you're not sure about buying a 2nd guitar and you're playing often with friends, do not hesitate! It's great fun for everybody!
