For older kids...
I bought this to help my child at school with a term topic of weather. There are three videos: volcanoes, avalanches and storms. It does have some stuff about earth's weather but it relates this all to the planets in the solar system. I think it would be better for older kids, boys especially as there are some good machines ... but it is only interested in earths weather as a comparison to what it is like on the planets ... touches on eg: dust devils on one planet. I think its good at what it does .... but my husband would probably like it best. Theres a lot of discussion about what scientist are trying to do. Production values are good.
