About the Artist
Digitalism's debut album, Idealism, is already one of the most highly anticipated releases of the year. Although it's still early days for the Hamburg-based duo, with just three EPs under their belt (released on the Franco-Japanese label Kitsuné, and featuring "Zdarlight", one of last year's hottest club anthems) plus several critically acclaimed remixes (of tunes by Depeche Mode, Klaxons and Daft Punk, among others) and a series of organic live performances, Digitalism has built itself a solid reputation and stands ready to ride the new electro wave currently breaking over dance floors worldwide (sparked by Justice, Does It Offend You Yeah?, MSTRKRFT and more).

Finaklky Something to Praise...
...I never write reviews but this is just too good to ignore. People will surely compose better prose than me, but suffice to say this has renewed my faith in music...innovative and edgy with more hooks than a a school changing room, it really does defy a pigeon hole categorisation.
All I can say is that I hold this as highly as Fat of The Land & RATM. Absolutely brilliant.
great electro album
I only recently discovered this album, and i absolutley love it!!
would reccommend anyone to have a listen online...you wont be dissappointed.
i dont know why people say that its "average" as its a very good album.
Digitalism!!
This album is simply electronic perfection, and amazingly good in every way. After owning and loving this album for about 8 months now, looking back it changed my music taste forever. Digitalism have such varied sound on all 15 tracks, from the ongoing beat of Zdarlight to the upbeat indie track I Want I Want, but every moment is brilliant. They are also a great live band from what I have seen, with Jence singing and Isi drumming live, I will see them in April!
This album really changed my life, and even though I may listen to other electronic artists more frequently now, Idealism started off my love for this kind of music and is still my favourite album of 2007, if not ever. Thankyou Jence and Isi for this masterpiece!
