How good is this cable??
I have a US PS3 & a UK PS2 but only 1 spare SCART socket on my TV, so I came across this cable & saw that I could fit the cable to my PS3 & then use the 3 jack points found half way down the cable to connect up my PS2, what a result, 1 cable running 2 consoles (Have to keep my PS2 going as the US PS3 dose not play UK PS2 games).
I was some what sceptical about the reviews of this cable; I mean how can a cable make so much difference??
Well it does!! On BOTH consoles!!
The PS3 O/S screen is now in a dithered deep crisp red where as when connected using the supplied PS3 cable it was a dull brown, I can now read the text on the PS3 O/S screen where as before you had to really concentrate & squint to read.
The images are so crisp & immersive it is a 100% improvement.
Now going onto the games... Resistance Fall of Man was like playing a new game, you could read the intel sheets where as before you could only just make out the text written on them, the image is so crisp, the depth of colour so much better you would have to see it to believe it.
When I fired up my PS2 on the cable it was the same thing!! The colours, images & text are so crisp clear & immersive it's like I have a new more powerful console!!
I would say it has made my standard 32" TV half way to the quality of an HD TV for my game consoles, that's how good this cable is!!

Hmm. Not impressed.
If like me, you simply can't afford a HDTV, and want the next best thing, buying this premium scart cable, with its fantastic reviews it has recieved, seems a must buy. But for me, it wasn't. I have a Sony WEGA 32" widescreen telly, which was the latest, greatest thing when i got it 3 an a half yrs ago, then just my luck, HD appeared on the scene. I was full of anticipation, and sure the picture would improve noticably after reading these other rave reviews, but sadly, it looks EXACTLY THE SAME. Ive swapped and compared it with the original composite leads, and it's no improvement or any worse. The ps3 menus, motorstorm, fifa 08, dvds, ive tried them all, and simply can't see any difference. I changed the display settings accordingly. Nothing. Very disappointing for me.

This is a must-have
Made a fantastic difference on my Sony 100hz crt screen, live vivid colours compared to using just the composite connection, and thanks to this lead i can read small letters that were previously blurred out. Eliminates colour flicker on small objects and the lead looks and feels good.

A must have if you are using a standerd tele :)
