Thrown into the futuristic Earth devastated by the invasion of the Zeon forces, players will find themselves caught in the crossfire between the Earth Federation and Zeon forces nine months into the conflict. At the brink of annihilation, the Earth Federation Forces are mobilizing to launch a massive counter assault against the occupying forces. Call for arms have been made. Players will be given a choice to either join the Federation Army to repel the invaders from the Earth or pledge their alliance to Zeon to claim the Earth! By piloting the ultimate mechanized weapons of the future taken straight from the Gundam Universe (Mobile Suits) players can suit up and command fellow battalion Mobile Suits in the fight to change the tides of the war.

Inciting the memories of bitter rivalries between the Federation and Zeon forces from the popular franchise, Mobile Suit Gundam: Target in Signt places pilots into the cockpits of numerous legendary Mobile Suits and launches them right into the heat of battle. Teamwork and brilliant leadership are crucial in ascertaining enemy weaknesses and locating strategic enemy facilities on the battlefield. New commanders have access to a variety of Mobile Suits available for enlistment into their battalion and more suits will open up as players progress further in the game and complete objectives in the war effort.

An Embarrassing Launch Title
Don't ask me why I bought this game, there are so many other better titles that you can christen your PS3 with.

We're all familiar with the processing power and graphical prowess of the PS3, we've been reading about them in magazines and on web-sites for months and believe me, this game obviously does not use a fraction of any of them.

It just smacks of not being bothered.

Steer well clear of!

No, no, no
Even for a launch title, this one is a horror.

Makes little attempt to exploit PS3's abilities, other than the close up graphics of the mecha, has an unwieldy control system and an incredibly steep difficulty curve.

When there are much better launch titles available (particularly Ridge Racer and Resistance: Fall of Man), I would recommend you avoid this, even if a fan of the series. From experience, a much better mech fighting game is Armoured Core 4, currently only available in Japanese but apparently available in English shortly.

I own all of the titles mentioned above, so speak from real experience!

Alot of fun
My previous review was a bit too rash. This game is ALOT of fun, sat countless hours playing this, its absolutley awesome. The controls are not as bad as ppl say, easy to get used to, no problem controlling here. Awesome gfx, fun missions and get better and better Mobile Suits. You can play as Zeon or EFF. Lots of fun, a little frustrating in the beginning, but GREAT after you play a little bit. Buy it!
