R.I.P. B.I.G.5
This album is amazing. I know we have heard all the tracks before, but you can just relax into a whole new playlist, and reminence back to all hit hits, including 2 new fantastic tracks. It has all time classics including Notorious Thugs, Hypnotize, Big Poppa and the king of all Biggie tracks, Juicy. Not one track on here you cannot enjoy, not even if you don't feel for it much. A bad thing is it didnt include other classics like Party and Bullsh**, Mo Money Mo Problems, Hold Ya Head and Going Back To Cali.

I suppose this collection wasn't as strong as 2pac's Greatest Hits, but belive me, it's damn close. There isn't much to say about this album, but trust me you've gotta get it. It's probably the most played album in my collection at the moment, until I get Bone Thug's anyway...

Could've been soooo much better3
I hate it when greatest hits compilations try to be different, JUST STICK TO THE GOOD STUFF! i.e. the stuff that will keep the fans happy. No mo' money more problems (his greatest hit), no party and b****, no sky is the limit, no playas anthem and those HITS aside the 2 unreleased tracks just make it plain false advertisement! Can't beleive that the track featuring the most overatted and talentless rapper of all time eminem (like i needed to say his name!) features and that's probably why, as big a fan as i am, feel I've wasted my money. Greatest rapper of all time, some of hip hops best ever songs and somehow they managed to balls it up! Really disappointed. I just hope they're not holding back on the previously mentioned tracks in order to make a few more remixes and release a part 2.

Biggie for Beginners3
I wanted to give this collection 1 star, because Puff missed a trick here. Like previous reviewers have noted, this album is lacking in depth and has ignored the more 'nuanced' work that Frank White put out in the world. It really should have been a double CD with a book for liner notes.

But it isn't, and what is here is still seminal music in it's own right. Those of you who have heard about this dude but haven't heard much of his music, this is a good place to start I suppose. And if you like what you hear, go and cop the kid's ENTIRE back catalogue. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. Biggie Smalls is the illest. Ever.
