DO NOT BUY IF YOU HAVE OTHER SIMS GAMES!
Pointless! This games offers you about three hours of gameplay. It has two stories, which are very rigid, very easy, and completely boring. Once you have finished both stories, which really does not take that long, you are left with a free mode. If you have the sims 2, then this is mostly the same. If you have any expansion packs, it is completely pointless. Stick with The Sims 2, and be creative.
I'm a big Sims fan, and have every game released. I was completely dissapointed with this. It had nothing to offer whatsoever, and I feel, as such a sims fan, completely let down and taken for a ride with this one.
Only if...
I currently have Sims Life Stories and Sims Pet Stories and I wish I could combine the two into one game! The story parts were good but WAY too easy. Another annoying thing is that your sims are unable to become old like they do in life stories/normal sims 2 meaning that playing time on one family is much shorter and it's very hard to get to the top of any careers (particularly annoying if this is your sim's lifetime want). It is perfect because I have a laptop and I can talk to my friends on msn and go on the internet at the same time.
If you can't afford Sims pets!
Basically... It was cheap so bought it cz i like the pets but couldn't afford it!... shame you cant add more on to it but.. what you going to do?
the free play is the same as normal play, and the "story" part is a bit pointless, but worth buying at this price if you dont hav sims.
