Amazon.co.uk Review
"I put in so much time," Joe sings in a down'n'dirty rasp on "My Love," one of a handful of tracks on Ain't Nothin' Like Me destined to make hopeless R&B romantics swoon. Then, on the same song, he massages away the worries of fans who've been waiting for new Joe material since 2003: "I've got everything under control," he croons. Despite a bunch of release-date pushbacks, Ain't Nothin' Like Me leaves little room for doubt that he does. This is confident, grown-and-sexy music stirred to a pleasing consistency by slick, super-experienced collaborators--Dre, Nas, and G-Unit heavy-hitters Tony Yayo and Young Buck among them. The chugger "Love is Just a Game" grabs hold with grooves that swirl and echo, opener "Get to Know Me" bumps along to a hot Tim & Bob beat, and "Where You At" wins instant sympathy from the lovelorn and the forsaken with its rueful finger-snaps. Frost-free vocals are put to excellent use throughout, and in a way that doesn't emphasize style over honesty. If there's a misstep here, it's the boastful title--any disc of substance deserves a better one. Still, there ain't nothin' else not to like. --Tammy La Gorce

Awesome album
First off, i must recommend this album, i got this album 1st day of release after having all his other releases. I feel this is some of his best work after the 1997 album all that i am, which is his best and he prob will never get back to that level [e.g. his thriller if you know what i mean lol] you must buy that album, simply outstanding!!!
He has one of the most unique voices in the business, i personally put him at the top of everyone in rnb singers, though Ant Hamilton, Musiq, Brian McKnight, D'angelo and a few others are at the same level.
There is a great mix of bangin beat songs and slow ballads which joe is the king at, my love and if i was your man are awesome ballads, and get to know me with nas and where you at with papoose are great colaberations.
Aint nothin like me featuring members of g unit is dissappointing i must admit, but overall its an album you can listen to over, and over again.
I have always been annoyed that Joe has not had the exposure worldwide, mainly in uk, as he is head and shoulders above 95% of the male singers out there, i mean 100x better than wannabees like neyo, mario etc.. but i feel at least he is not a sellout and he is dedicated to making good music.
i highly recomend this album to "true longterm rnb fans" !!! and also chech out his masterpiece all that i am!!!!
NOT SURE WHETHER ITS THEBEST ALBUM
NOT SURE IF THIS IS JOES BEST ALBUM BECAUSE IT DOES NOT HAVE HIS SILKY VOICE AND GOOD SONGS LIKE " Get Crunk Tonight" but still there are different sounds to th album. I do like the song with Nas
IMO The BEST Joe Album
I always felt that Joe came across a little "victim-ish" in his tracks, admittedly I was put off buying an album of his since "My Name Is Joe" because the quality (or lack of) of that one was so poor and I had resigned myself to bopping my head and humming along to his popular tunes on the radio. However, my other half was given this whilst in the hairdressers about 6 months back (good hairdressers ;) ) and we've had it in the car EVER since. I love Nas and the intro track is so recognisably him, track 12 is a favourite of ours and we sing along with gusto, but the rest of the album is so easily listenable I was SHOCKED at the quality.
Good buy - in fact I'm considering buying a copy for myself seeing as he is so selfish with it!!
