Can't go wrong with this Strand...5
I'd spent a good deal of time searching for a LCD/Plasma stand on the web, the dimensions had to be just right, to incorporate my amp, DVD player, SkyBox and center speaker.

It comes flat packed in 23 parts, twelve leg support parts, four end feet to fix the the entire build via four thread bars and of course the three shelves. Simple clear instructions that will have you assembled in a matter of minutes, but as you construct it top to bottom, once finished have someone help to turn it the right way up, it's quite heavy.

For the the price offered here, (in my budget range), it seemed to offer exactly what was required, depth being 45cm, bottom shelf height 20cm, middle shelf being 19cm, (20cm including the top shelf fixture), a width of 110cm and a total height from top to bottom being about 49.5cm.

The glass is tinted, curved at the front so avoiding sharp corners and the rear corners angled off. Top shelf is 10mm thick which I think is the norm for these stands and takes up to 80kg. The two lower shelves 8mm thick, not the weaker 6mm I've seen about and 35kg safe load for these.

The tubed supports are finished in chrome and made of some metal that felt reasonably heavy, the end caps for each segment plastic, but again finished in chrome - quality here seemed to drop for me here, I was expecting some kind of rubber, but blend into the support virtually seamlessly so no big deal really and extend the height by a total of 10mm. Both the screw cap on the underside of the top shelf and fixing cap are solid metal and each about 10mm thick.

All in all, for the price you'll find an excellent stand that looks more expensive than it was. Fully accommodates a 42" plasma perfectly and home entertainment equipment. You could spend a lot more getting the same results, but if your on a budget, you simply just can't go wrong if you need a large strong and good looking stand like this one and whole heartily recommend it to anyone.

Good qulaity stand at a reasonable price5
Struggled to find a good quality stand for my new sony Bravia 40".

Lots of stands on Amazon where too small or where very expensive until i came across this stand. Looks good and does the job. Very durable.

No problems with delivery either very swift and Hibaba look like a good company.

All round very happy with the stand and service

Easy peasy5
This was excellent value for money...
We were a bit apprehensive about assemby as some people had said it was heavy to turn over after erection. The key points to remember are:
1. erect upside down and remember the thickest shelf is the top! This is contrary to what the instructions said!
2.assemble on a blanket so it can be easily moved around. Put a fold at the front side so that you can get a grip to lift the completed stand and turn it over.
3. when complete just turn over! It helps if you have had the foresight to build it in exactly the right place, so all you have to do is simply flip it over ( but gently)

Everything went smoothly for my wife and my aged self :-))
The problem of it being heavy, which some people raised, just didnt exist !
