Battlefield Brilliance5
if you have Battlefield 2142 i seriously recommend this booster pack, its got new maps Tital & Assault Lines that are seriously addictive everything in this booster pack should have been in the original release, its the game it should be now, defintly worth it but one thing is i dont like having to get EA Link to download it but i guess thats EA's version of Steam, GREAT BOOSTER PACK

Proliferation for Playability4
Rather than buy the game via amazon I downloaded mine via EA link. This is not as complicated as some people seem to think, sure you have to download 160mb, but that doesn't take long; and most people have broadband, plus it stays encrypted on your harddrive so if you uninstall, you can reinstall straight away.

Now to the game at hand.
The expansion as mentioned adds 2 new vehicles: The Goliath (an enourmous self repairing APC) and the PAC get a landspeeder (which can do some serious damage in the hands of the right person).
These new vehicles are available in the new "Assault the Lines" mode where the EU have to attack the PAC held points. This is where the goliath is used. (Its worth also noting that PAC soldiers cannot drive the goliath, so if someone is lurking around the base they will no be an unstoppable behemoth there aswell).

Many of you will have also noticed in the quite huge 1.20 patch (297mb) that new features on the unlocks are available, with northern strike this now becomes available to you. But don't think that its going to be hard to achieve more ranks. Instead of more ranks added they have added 'Northern Strike medals' that basically give you an unlock point if you are awarded them. So you will probably find as I did that when you start first playing Northern Strike you will gain about 5 unlocks in the space of about 1 day, which isn't a bad thing of course.

There are a couple of problems, that are typical of the games publishers (EA) to leave in. For example, there are still problems with the menu when you log in and then out and then in again, the screen flickers and also an interesting fault with the scanning deployable drone, where for some reason it either explodes, crushes you or hurts you when its deployed. But i'm hopeful that a quick patch will sort this.

Overall this is a must for the game, people will be gradually moving towards it and so if you stay with the original not only do you get less content, you will eventually (most likely) get few servers to play on.

Not a CD5
Just to let people know, incase you didnt realise, that what you're buying is just a code, and not a CD/DVD. All the code lets you do is get it from EA link, so its just as fast to buy it straight from EA link.
