Manufacturer's Description
Featuring an entirely fictitious route, the line consists of 3 stations and several small goods yards along with a carriage works, a loco yard and a marshalling yard. It also includes 96 pieces of rolling stock including 23 new models. Davies Street station features a small goods yard which sees a small amount of coal and general goods traffic along with a daily newspaper train. As you approach Latimer Cross a carriage shed spans the tracks with two sidings behind it. Here coal trains are delivered daily ready for the wagons to be shunted onto the coaling stage to top up the locomotives' coal supply at Yelland Road shed. Latimer Cross is the largest station on the line and sees regular service from both local and express trains. Lastly is Hambly, also featuring a goods yard which receives general goods and some coal along with daily newspapers!
Customer Reviews
Mixed emotions.
For the final "BATS" pack this one was probably the poorest of them all. Originally designed only to be a loco pack the team at BluearrowTS decided it would be worthwhile to build a route for this add on, so that people could drive the new stock on it. Sadly the route is a very poor loader and not very exciting, although it is fictional, a better route could have been produced. The stock included is a mixed bag too, locos such as the Princess, Duchess & Jinty are fantastic models, showing MSTS at its absolute best, but sadly BATS used their previous models of the black 5 & 8F, plus other older models which were only reskinned, a big let down as the majority of the new locos on the pack were just reskinned old models. One other let down was the sounds, either using similar sounds from the SVR pack or using poor recordings. An OK MSTS add on but sadly no where near the best.
