When it comes to being a skinny, big-smiling teen-ager who can whip pop music fans into a frenzy with a mere toss of his excellent curls, let's face it: Corbin Bleu has competition. If Bleu is not the only TV-launched singer to revitalize both leave-in conditioner sales and puppy love in 2007, though, he is the only one with a shot at being taken seriously by critics. Another Side, his first album post-High School Musical and Jump In!, the Disney Channel movies that made a household name out of him (at least in households inhabited by 8- to 15-year-olds), is pretty much what you'd expect--a high-energy hybrid of pop, R&B, and hip-hop. Consider "Push It to the Limit," the song that propelled the Jump In! soundtrack and closes this disc, an on-ramp to the bubbly Bleu sound. Don't discount what separates him from the pack of post-Disney Channel singers wishing upon stars for pop-chart domination, though. His vocals, a pleasing mash of Michael Jackson and Jesse McCartney, make him a contender for a long-term career in music. --Tammy La Gorce

great album in my opinion
This is defineintly a great album and the vocals are flawless so why not try it corbin is the only male from high school musical to have a solo album so come on people buy it to see what you think of it.

Another Side of Corbin Bleu
I loved him in high school musical & i love his album! His song are catchy not to mention upbeat a nice compilation of tracks! So far he holds the possition of being the only HSM male star to have his own solo album wich is really successful seeing as i am not really an r'n'b/soul fan! The singles push it to the limit & deal with it are amazing and were just a preview of what was to come. My fav songs from this amazing album are deal with it, i get lonely, marchin, still there for me feat baby V, roll with you! If you are a fan of the HSM music then you will love this album as it is a perfect listen for anyone who loved the HSM series! it really is another side of corbin and of the usual disney pop albums, this is a must buy!

Fantastic Album
I'm in love with this album. It is not what I would call "pop" but more on the lines of "RnB/Soul". In my opinion Corbin's album is the best of all the solo albums that were created thanks to High School Musical.

Corbin's voice is pleasant to hear and on the Another Side disc, his vocals are flawless and precise. I love the catchiness of his songs and the beats to them. A great album for any age.

A definite for the holiday season. It would make a great stocking filler.
