Why Pay More
This cable gives me the same excellent 1080p/24fps picture from my hd player to my lcd, as a 1m cable I payed three times as much for.Good quality, does the job, why pay more.

As HDMI is digital, unlike SCART (and earlier), it will either work or will not. with a cable that transmits an analogue signal there may me a point in buying an expensive one.

There is no point in buying an expensive HDMI cable. if you are unlucky enough to get a duff one, exchange it.
