About the Artist
Ross is originally from Virginia, but signed to SonyBMG UK subsidiary, Phonogenic, and lives in London. Ross spent all of 2006 touring the UK. His sound is a cross between Coldplay and early Robbie Williams; he has produced an album filled with killer melodies and choruses.

Since being based in the UK, Ross has been and touring around the country, as well as playing festivals and performing with artists from Mark Ronson to Amy Winehouse to Lilly Allen and is being sponsored by Nicole Farhi.

Incredibly, "All She Wrote" will be underpinning the trailers for TV Show "Without A Trace" in America, and was also aired during the Super Bowl (150 million audience) amongst many others.

Ross will be continuously touring the UK including a residency at Metro and he is already booked for this years V festival.

The album allows Ross to showcase his already recognised huge talent for writing songs with a `widescreen sound stage', winning melodies, and solid vocals.

Customer Reviews

Gold-plated Copper, Man!5
I recently bought Welcome To Reality (2007), the second album by Ross Copperman, someone I'd actually never heard of until a couple of weeks ago. The reason I bought it was because I was looking through a stack of extremely cheap (a matter of pennies) CDs from an online overstocks store and was checking out reviews. The reviews for this particular album were very positive and so I took a chance and ordered it.

When I first listened to 'Welcome To Reality', it made an instant impression on me - it's absolutely fantastic. Brilliantly written and performed, very melodic, often uplifting, epic, radio-friendly rock/pop songs. For the real uber-cool hardcore indie fans, it may be a little too MOR-sounding, but has a real bite and will really appeal to those who may like Ryan Adams, John Mayer, Jesse Malin, Cherry Ghost and Ben's Brother, to name just a few. I suppose even These Days-era Bon Jovi comes to mind a little when I hear this, but without the bombast and the tendency towards being corny. Nothing corny about this album, I can assure you.

This is an excellent album from start to finish. My favourite tracks - so far - are All She Wrote, Found You, Can't Stop Loving You, Believe, Lucky Day and They'll Never Know. The incredible Guilty Pleasure, especially, is one of the best songs I've heard for a while.

Highly recommended. If you bought this album and didn't enjoy it, I would be extremely surprised.

great new talent5
I loved every song on this album as I listened to it for the first time. No 'album fillers' just great songs. Ross is a major new talent that I'll be watching out for in the future. 'found you' is great as is 'all she wrote' 'As I choke' is another wonderful tune. Top class album from a wonderful major new talent.

A great new voice5
In a world of pre-fab music, it's nice to hear and see a real songwriter emerge. A great album!
