Synopsis
The second of two spin-offs launched by the hugely popular television series C.S.I. - CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION, C.S.I. - NEW YORK distinguishes itself with an even darker, grittier tone than either of its predecessors by grounding the action in the gloomy aftermath of post-9/11 New York. The always brilliant Gary Sinise anchors the series as sternly professional former-Marine police detective Mac Taylor, whose stoic exterior masks the pain of losing his wife in the World Trade Center attacks. Synopsis
The latest spin-off series from C.S.I. in which New York forensic detectives employ the very latest hi-tech methods to catch criminals in the Big Apple...

The head of the lab is no-nonsense First Grade Detective Mac Taylor (Gary Sinise), taking a scientist's eye to crime, Mac believes that everything is connected no matter how big or small. Originally from Chicago, his military background fast-tracked him through the force, leading him, ultimately to the crime lab. Mac's trusted second in command Second Grade Detective Stella Bonasera (Melina Kanakaredes) her half Greek, half Italian heritage is New York through and through. A tough uncompromising officer, Bonasera is a match for anyone in and outside the lab. Joining Taylor and Bonasera are Third Grade Detective Danny Messer (Carmine Giovinazzo) and Third Grade Detective Aiden Burn (Vanessa Ferlito), both tough young officers completely dedicated to Mac and their work.

THE BEST CSI DVD YET
Up to recently i did not really like csi new york and only watched it out of loyalty. This Season 3 is the best yet and now New York is the best. i hired this but will be buying it. it does inc a Csi being framed, some drug bust breaking into the lab, and some personal issues.
