Unequalled quality in multiplayer DS games
I'll start this post with the truth. This is the best game I have ever played over WFC on the DS.
Im unshaken on this that its so well polished and bursting with options and modes that it will be hard to topple. Even Clubhouse games doesnt have this much hilarity to offer, other than drawing penises on the chat window to friends.
The weapons physics and overall content are all so much better than the original worms Open warfare. In my mind this is what the first game should have been plus a whole lot more. The main game mode for online are Forts where you have 2 forts, 1 on each side of the map and fire at eachother till the ammos run out or everyone from one side is dead. Deathmatch which is true worms with various weapon sets and background effects such as it rains down shells on the WW1 level. Then my personal favourite, Race where you have to use a predefined pickup like ninja rope or jetpacks to get to the end quicker than your opponent.
Throw into that custom teams, leaderboards for just about everything and you have a complete and amazing WIFI package.
Single player has even more, oh yes some how even more stuff. It has all thats mentioned above plus campaigns, puzzle modes and the Lab which uses all of the DS' fuctionality quite well though it is very tricky for those of us who don't do alot of puzzles.
Throw into it Single and multi card play for up to 4 people and the send demo ability and you have a community game like Tony Hawk will all the fun of Worms. Simply sublime game that demands to be in everyones collection.

Excellent
This game is absolutely fantastic. Like many, I was thoroughly disappointed by the first Worms Open Warfare, but this game more than makes up for its predecessor's (numerous) shortcomings.
The standard slapstick Worms combat is present here, complete with the usual barrage of squeaky worm voices in ridiculous accents. The weapons set is slightly reduced from the usual array available in PC games but nonetheless provides a formidable range and variety, and series favourites such as the Holy Hand Grenade and the Super Sheep return. The only small issue I have encountered thus far is that AI players can, occasionally, take as long as 30 seconds to decide on a move, although this is a rare occurrence and does very little to affect the quality of the gaming experience.
The graphics and presentation are fantastic. The 2D sprites and maps have the same chunky, vibrant style as those seen in previous games such as Worms World Party and Worms Armageddon, and the backgrounds of many maps feature 3D animations of planes, ships and so on, depending on theme.
The FMV sequences are fantastic and, as is the standard in Worms games, humourous, and are in the style of the 3D Worms games.
Perhaps most importantly of all, though, this game supports online play via the Nintendo Wifi network. This means that, provided you're in range of a wireless access point, you can play classic worms against anyone, anywhere, wherever you like. The online option is fantastic, allowing for vast numbers of different play scenarios with up to 4 different players, each with their own team of bloodthirsty worms. It is possible to create a list of friends and rivals for ease of matchmaking (although the annoying system of both players having to add each other before they are considered 'friends' is, as ever, present), and the game even allows you to check the current top 10 players in the world, as well as your own position in the leaderboards.
Basically, if you have a DS, even if you don't have a wifi connection, buy this game. If you DO have a wifi connection, you're in for even more of a treat.
The most comprehensive version of worms since armageddon, but where's the baseball bat??
This is definately one of the best versions of worms to date, as it goes back to the roots of the classic games of the series while mantaining a a modern, updated feel of the later titles.
In a nutshell you controll a small army of little worms and use a variety of crazy weapons to destroy the enemy, the results are always hilarious and anarchic, and as you may have guessed this game is served best with three chums to battle with.
Pros:
Easy to pick up and play
Lots of weapons
Hilarious fun
Map Maker, create your own maps with the stylus!!
Cons:
Worms hard to see (No zoom feature either)
No baseball bat?? Thats a tad strange...
Definately recommended for all ds owners
