Would not recommend
I bought this unit in December. It's a beautiful looking item and compliments my Samsung Plasma perfectly.
Problem - Impossible to keep sound in sync with tv, it gradually drifs out to the point of total annoyance. Visual Service Centre cannot find root of problem (they've been out 3 times) and claim lack of help from Samsung.
I'm at point of taking it back to shop and asking for my money back, I've totally lost faith in it, VSC and Samsung. Buy at your peril.

samsung flop!!
bought system end of sept 2007, looked very smart next to my samsung lcd, superb picture and sound. Worked ok until January ,then required new laser unit, been faulty twice since then , Samsung will not replace the unit, lady in Samsung customer service very unhelpfull. Not impressed with Samsung service at all.

Faulty item
After setting up this unit i was impressed with the picture and sound.
Then the trouble started, it cut out after 1 hour 20 minutes of the first DVD i played and then did the same with every other DVD i tried.
This unit was supplied by Pixmania and only came supplied with a 2 prong continental adaptor, lucky enough my old Sony player was the same but had a UK plug adapter fitted which i used for the Samsung.
I've since returned the unit to Pixmania but i'm still awaiting a replacement.
I can see from a review of the Samsung thx25r that this is not uncommon.
Not the usual excellent Amazon customer experience i'm afraid.
