Confusion
I thought i should just stop any confusion regarding this product, this is NOT a HD-DVD player but an upscaling DVD player. This means that it will take you old dvds and digitally improve them to make them look sharper.

NO PLAY HD DVD DISCS
Hi,Anyone help me out here before I throw it out the window, I purchased this system to go with my new Panasonic PLASMA PX80 TV ALL WAS GOING GREAT UNTIL I PURCHASED SOME HD DVDs, AND IT KEEPS TELLING ME THAT THIS TYRP OF DISC IS NOT COMPATABLE, IS THIS SO AS I THOUGHT IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE HDMI WITH 1080 UPSCALING,SO I ASSUMED IT COULD PLAY HD DVDs, PLEASE SOMEONE TELL ME THAT IT SHOULD PLAY HD DVDs or I will go mad as this will be the second player I have purchased in error, your help is needed and will be much appreciated, cheers JW

I had this player now for about a week. The sound is amazing very loud and clear. Although i have just been told that they won't be selling HD DVDs much longer as now Blu ray HD have won the deal to make HD. Therefore it isn't compatible with bluray. So basically this system is pointless buying if your looking to play HD.
Great sound anyway...
