Bad Design
Not much to write about this. yes, it protects the Zen, and yes it looks good.
But whoever designed it clearly didn't look at the Zen Stone first.

Why?

Well, while the Stone is in the case you can't see when it's turned on or off, so that make some guess work required which can result in a flat battery if you get it wrong.
Also, the Stone has a very handy button on it which lets you skip albums (so long as they're arranged in folders), but again this case covers it up so you can't use it....!!

If some thought had gone into the above, this would have got 5 stars, but as it renders some of the players features unusable - I can't give it full marks.

Nearly Four Star
The good - it protects the Stone brilliantly and given that the Stone is so small it works perfectly as a means to carry it around on your denim's etc. The bad - well same as the rest of the reviewers. Not being able to see the power light is a real pain in the butt because you may have the Stone in pause mode or it may be hung up (happened to me once)or maybe you just want to see if the damn light is on or off. I took my keyring down to the engineroom (on a ship) and used a wad punch to make a neat little hole where the light is - feel much better now and with the mod it's worth an extra star. If you have a hole punch you may be able to do the same. Should have been thought of when designed and made though.

again i agree with the below review, about the case rendering certain functions useless, but seeing as how small the device is, having a very small piece of clear plastic over the power LED would just look a bit stupid in my opinion.

ok perhaps they should of had a differnt design, to allow access to the side but then there would be nothing holding the case together, as the button slider is on the side of the stone... or jsu ta very small piece of material, again would probably break and everybody would be moaning about that...

the item is a great bit of kit, love the stone, and the feel of the case, feels good, looks cool... WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT!! xD
