royal rumble 2007

ECW World Championship match, Bobby Lashley vs Test - it was a ok match but Test refuses with the 10 count outside the ring.
The World Heavyweight Championship match, Batista vs Mr Kennedy - The match was not very good because Batista knocked out the ref and mr Kennedy low blowed Batista - bit dirty playing, and the pin was a 10 count
The ref got up and it was a 2 count and a shocking comeback by Batista with the Batista bomb and a victory.
Thw WWE Championship match, John Cena vs Umagga - it was a good match. John Cena lifted Umagga up and the whole weight of Umagga hit the steel steps John Cena was head first. John Cena was busted open. Umagga set Cena on the announcers table head hanging on, Umagga ran across the tables and Cena moved out of the way and Umagga was left flying through the announcers table.
The Royal Rumble match - A good match the undertaker and Shawn Michaels being the last to be left in. Shawn Michaels sweet chin music the undertaker, the undertaker choke slamming Michaels. Michaels going for another sweet chin music and the undertaker flipped him over out of the royal rumble. The winner- The Undertaker

royal rumble 2007 was a very good event,in truth only one match let this down and thats good going,that match in question was the opening match of the night,a tag team match between MNM and the hardys,this match seemed to last an age,in truth it lasted 15 minutes or so but it just seemed to go on and on and that isnt a good sign,the match had hype about it,thats for sure and both teams played their part in a high energy contest but it wasnt that riveting in truth,a shame then.
Next up was the ECW championship between bobby lashley and test,despite a disgraceful outcome,talk about weak after all the hype,this was a good contest,strength over skill perhaps but comfortable in that realm,a good match with a shoddy ending.
Next up was the world heavyweight championship match between champ batista and challenger mr kennedy,this was a good match as well with kennedy showing that he was destined for a good year regardless of whether he won or lost here,a find athlete and batista worked well with him .very good.
On with the show then and the last match before the royal rumble match itself,last man standing match between umaga and the champ john cena,this was a good match,cena and the wwe fans have had their problems over the years but here cena works his socks off to gain some respect against a rival that is all fear and execution,this was a long enough match but wasnt boring in truth,a fine match all round then and that left the rumble itself,a match that cant be bad,or can it.
The royal rumble excites,we all accept that as wwe fans but certain things can foul the ball as they say,firstly if there is too much dross at the event,old timers being wheeled out to make up the thirty man rumble or secondly a winner that should not be,some would throw that at rey mysterio who won it a year earlier,but at the same time the idea is always exciting.
Well i am glad to say that this rumble was tip top,ECW,SMACKDOWN and RAW brands all feature and the list of entries is very solid indeed,the match itself featured some great star turns and a fine winner emerged so this is a fine 4 out of 5 event.
