Customer Reviews

Angie does it again but BETTER!5
Angie Stone is a true artist and makes me weep - there is awesome power, feeling, depth and beauty in how magnificantly she sings. My two favourites are Baby and Sometimes.

WOW! Does not express how truly great this lady is. For the true soul connoisseurs.

GREATNESS of Soul/Neo Soul5
Soul & Music Fans PERIOD this album is FIREEEEEEE!!
Angie Stone isn't an artist to put aside and i must say ALL her albums have great elements but this 4me is a complete Angie Stone Album no song on the album is skippable(IMO).
This album is like a journey through her past albums to this point and i was more than impressed.
I have my ultra favs from the album but i find myself playing the whole album be4 i go back to those favs.

All i can say to sum this up as is Soul(Smooth Groove) music at its best and a must to be in the collection of classic CD's

Oh yes, this is a soul album......5
.....of the highst caliber. Angie comes back on a new label with her most complete album since Black Diamond, if not her best ever.....not that the others have lacked quality but this is soul and then some. There are three top drawer uptempo tracks in the form of 'Baby'(with the wonderful clean up woman Betty Wright), 'Play Wit It' & 'My People' featuring James Ingram. The grooves get no better then the soothing 'Pop Pop' & 'Here We Go Again' whilst 'Happy Being Me' finishes off the album simply with Angie's voice as a clear as the sky on a winter's night.
