We find Gabe Logan once again using a combination of stealth and ‘run-and-gun’ gameplay as he is called into action when a dangerous new technology is hijacked by a criminal extremist group. Syphon Filter: Logan’s Shadow is complete with a variety of combat mechanics including the ability to force enemies into cover with ‘blind-fire’, an advanced melee system that allows Gabe to use enemies as human shields, and 360 degree underwater combat. For the first time in the franchise ‘interactive moments’ have been added for increased player interaction, such as airlifting debris and escaping wrist restraints. Returning to the franchise are buddy missions which have been enhanced with a variety of new objectives.

Syphon Filter Logan's Shadow
I recieved the game on Saturday morning and started playing almost instantly and the gameplay was the first thing to strike me, it is exactly the same as Dark Mirror in terms of how you control Gabe. Not that this is bad thing, Dark Mirror (the 5th game in the series) was praised for it's brilliant gameplay mechanics, espicially after being given the tripe that was Omega Strain (the 4th game in the series). So nothing has changed really just the levels and the terroists that get in your way. However there is one new gameplay mechanic, swimming. That's right in some levels the action takes place underwater, this means that all new underwater weapons have been introduced (Bolt Gun anyone?). There are a few new weapons too, including the Over-Under (a M16K with a grenade launcher attatchment) and the Flamethrower plus others that I can not remember right now. Finally I come to the online mode, if you had Dark Mirror you will remember the thriving online community that made it fun to play online and with the same layout Logan's Shadow looks like it is heading for the same greatness.

best game on the psp
fantastic and awesome are the two words i would use to describe this game,i didn't think they could better dark mirror but they have,if you own a psp buy this game..i bought this from amazon and had to wait over a week for it to be delivered though
BRILL GAME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a brillian game and in all reality even better then the orgional. They've taken all of the faults of the first game, tweaked and improved them and have come out with this smashing sequel. The only true criticism is that there aren't as many levels as the first one but all in all still a complete cracker of a game.
IF YOU HAVE A PSP YOU MUST OWN THIS GAME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
