    Superb Device5
I bought this several months ago and have not used the USB cable for my camera since. Just pop the XD card out of your camera, into the reader, then plug the whole lot into your USB.

Windows recognises it as an external drive and will (usually) ask what you want to do with the content - leading you to the picture uploading wizard. Alternatively you can bypass that and drag and drop the images from the card into another folder in Windows Explorer. No hassle at all.

I've also used this device on my new MacBook Pro (running Leopard) and it works equally well. I don't particularly like iPhoto so just drag and drop my images into a folder on the desktop, but it will work with iPhoto.

It is so handy to carry around.

I've just got myself a dSLR which uses CF cards and I'll be getting the CF Reader from ByteStor - with confidence.

    GOOD BUY5
ITS A GREAT LITTLE CARD READER AND THE HANDY SLOT FOR AN (XD CARD)WOULD BE LOST WITHOUT IT.

    exactly what I needed5
The xD card reader has saved my sanity,
Due to camera software causing all sorts of problems with my pc, I would have to load the software to transfer pictures and then uninstall it again to get full functionality of my pc back. Now I can just pop the xD card into the usb reader and have no trouble whatsover.
