four quid down the drain
I plugged my CF card into it.
Then I plugged the ensemble into my MacBook.
Nothing.
Then I had the bright idea of unplugging it all, plugging in the reader and THEN plugging
in the CF card. That worked for my macbook. So OK it works (hence the two stars).
But this is a bit fiddly, and the next time I tried it I bent the pins in the reader
(extremely easy to do)
I tried to fix it with a pin, but I gave up after a while - no option but to chuck it in the bin.

A little flimsy
This is a great device if space is limited, but due to the slot length the CF card can be put in at the wrong angle, which can bend the pins. Also data transfer rates are quite slow if you are transferring a lot of pictures.

Very poor quality.
Bought 2 of these, one for computer bag the other for camera bag. CF card does not slide in easily at all. Both are now useless as the prongs have bent. Will have to invest in a better quality one.
