Customer Reviews
Brilliant!
I've recently purchased a 37" lCD TV and the stand which was for sale with it was £199. The TV had broken my budget so I decided to look on Amazon for something more reasonable in the way of stands. I found this tv stand at an unbelievable price and it arrived 4 days later. It looks as good as the one that would have knocked me back £199 and is strong and sturdy, took only minutes to assemble and looks as good as the much more expensive one. Excellent value, fast delivery and a real bargain saving me over £140 - thanks Amazon! Don't go spending loads when this stand is as good as any, an absolute bargain!
Great Stand, Shame About The Instructions
The glass in this stand alone is worth more than the price you paid for it from Amazon, it's that simple. It is larger than it looks, it is rock solid and compliments my 32" Samsung LCD screen.
I would recommend this stand 100%, the only reason I gave it four stars was because of the really poor instructions.
You open it up, remove the 3 panes of glass and then fumble around with the tubing and screws for 20 minutes.
When setting it up:
1. The diagram on the left is an upside down unit from what it should look like completed.
2. Remove the screws from the bottom piece of MDF and screw them into the back metal bases. Use the screws on the side of the MDF to tighten when you place on top of them.
3. Make sure you have two of the plastic caps left for the two rubber/plastic stoppers.
4. Lay the top piece of glass (the one with metal bases face down on the floor and build your way up.
Hope that helps anyone who has any trouble with assembly.
Some assembly problems
Stand I received had a problem with the way the metal parts were stuck to the glass. Both front leg joints failed during assembly and I had to stick them back with double-sided adhesive tape.
This worked okay and I now have a reasonable stand for a very cheap price.
