Halo 3 Console Modding Kit (Styles may vary) (Xbox 360)

Being able to change your covers completely has always been a great options offered by Microsoft.
However some sellers are after a quick buck rather than offering quality.
Considering the covers you'll be sent not as good as the cover you are looking at.

I am at a complete loss to why sell Halo 3 console Modding, knowing that the styles may vary?

The styles do vary and can be complete different, if you decided to buy this version you should
contact the seller and ask which version you will be sent and to send you an email of the versions on offer.
Be carefully and make sure you are happy, if the kit is not what you paid out for CAN BE COSTLY.

Halo 3 is a great quality game and so should the products selling under the Halo brand.

Good Face but be careful with the design.
When I ordered this item nearly 2 weeks prior to this review I was under the impression that it was going to be the Master Chief so thumbs up. When the product arrived it was one of the grunts and not the MC. slightly annoyed I checked the site and the title had changed to (Styles may vary). Great I though no come back on this item (although I could of sent it back under the 7 day period - but after waiting 2 weeks for the item I couldn't be bothered paying p&p back etc).

Anyway the product. While the Face wasn't the design I thought I was buying it is a well built front. I've seen a few "3rd party" faces which look like school kids have designed it so top marks for build. My only major issue is the sides. To get the item out of the sealed package I had to cut around the plastic casing (unfortunately for me I scored the sides - not good but my own fault) - so be careful removing it from the package!!!

When the sides finally came out they were wrapped up so I had to place a large weight on them to flatten out again. Application of these are tricky too, get it ever so slightly off and the whole side looks wrong. Word of advice - Take you time!!

So to round up. Order this if u want a Halo Xbox but not bothered which style. Take your time opening and "installing" the item as you can make a pigs ear of it very quickly. I'd give this a 3/5.

not quite right
i must say to the first guy that i also received the grunt skin and i emailed customer services and they told me that they could not be certain that i would receive the correct skin so they told me to return under the 28 day rule and issued a full refund, return posting was free and i also was refunded the original posting. the quality of the skin is very good just a little disappointed that it wasn't the one advertised and thats why the changed it to styles may vary as i emailed them and they said that they would inform the relevant department. must say though this has show me how good of an e-tailor amazon is very impressed with service. not quite so with original order but all in all as hassle free as it could have been under the circumstances.
