Synopsis
The fast-paced comedy drama Las Vegas is set in one of Sin City's largest resorts, the Montecito Casino. The show follows Ed Deline (James Caan) and his surveillance team as they handle the mob, detect cheaters on the casino floor and discreetly throw out those who win too much. The series centres on the characters of Ed, the casino's head of operations; former marine Danny McCoy (Josh Duhamel); Danny's ex-fiancee Mary Connell (Nikki Cox); Sam Marquez (Vanessa Marcil), whose role is to get high rollers to play at the casino; and Delinda (Molly Sims), Ed's daughter. In series four, Delinda gets kidnapped and her father has to find the 50 million dollars ransom money. As Delinda and Danny's feelings for each other intensify, the tensions between Ed and his wife Jillian (Cheryl Ladd) reach a breaking point.

Dissapointed with the audio
Season 1 to 3 was excelent compared to this one. Still love James Caan as Ed Deline. Enjoyed the series alot, except I missed the 5.1 audio. I wanted to return the boxset because of this. I really did not expect it from the publisher to do such a poor job with this one. 17 Episodes??? What happened?? Also one thing I hate more than anything is the 3 words: "To be Continued", Why not make the season a full 22 episodes and spare us the anxiety? Will recommend the series to all Las Vegas Fans, but will not endorse season 4 as a must buy. Poor quality.

Its good! but wish there was subtitles
I like Las Vegas but im am disappointed, I am hard of hearing and there are not subtitles on this DVD yet they are available on the region one why? the subtitles have appeared on some of the other box seasons so its a little fustrating not really not understanding what is going on!! Other than that great.

Great series, meager DVD box
It's really hard to rate this DVD box - the series itself, especially the terrific James Caan is surely worth the full five stars.
However, compared to seasons 1 - 3 this box is really falling behind - only 17 episodes and no extras. And what happened to the 5.1 audio ? 2.0 stereo is what I expect from a 1960s movie, but certainly not from a 2007 high class series! I really hope season 5 will receive more attention by the publisher again - it really deserves it.

So it is 5 stars for the series and 3 stars for the box - makes it 4 in total.
