Customer Reviews

Why oh why!!1
Well done Gatecrasher,u complete and utter sellouts!!This is getting ridiculous now.Why are we continuely sold this rubbish.Yet another compilation thats essentially the best of 99/2000 just repackaged with the word "Classics" taken off.It does show what a poor state Trance is in now, with the club seemingly unable to produce an album without being tempted to delve into the archives. In all fairness the third CD,which looking at the tracklisting seems like the one Jules had control of does appear to offer something different. However it just underlines what a complete mixed bag this is!Essentially just a load of "Classic" tunes, with the odd random one from Jules that must have literally been picked out from a hat.Theres just no thought to it!One of the other reviewer says that if you love the music then who cares.Well i do love the music but i'm sick of seeing tunes I bought on a compilation 7 years still appearing on CDs now!I used to be a big fan of Gatecrasher but for me this just sums up the brand. They've forgotten about there true fans, too busy trying to cater for the everyday music fan. If you want a good trance album, then Armin Van Buuren - AState of Trance is a cracker.Even the new Dave Pearce album "Delirium" is worth a look, its got more upfront selcetion of tunes than this!

Yawn.......... oh, is it another album?1
Why do they insist on producing these pointless albums with the same tracks OVER and OVER again?? Gatecrasher are almost as bad as Ministry now - I never thought I'd say that back in '99!

Laughable - more like Gatecrasher Immoral2
Remember my last review? I wrote something like... "Same old stuff in exhaustive box set". Well, here we are again! And this time its Crasher's turn. Like the hands of a clock, the clubs (sorry... labels) are taking it in turns to release their money making classics albums. Ok then, this album doesn't have 'Classics' in the title, but after looking at the track-list, I just laughed, and gave it back to my mate who for some reason, bought it.
Gatecrasher may have burnt down, and this will no doubt help the costs of them rebuilding it (as if they didn't have enough money already, with the price of tickets) but since they already released 2 classics album's, another called 'Forever', it's hard to suspect money-grabbing opportunity, just because apparently Judge Jules and co mixed it. Since all they do now is just slap the songs on a laptop, and put them together, I fail to see why the likes of Pete Tong ask for £20,000 to play a set.
It's been said before many times now - why buy these silly albums with the same old stuff when you can buy the originals?

Come on Crasher, don't sink as low as Ministry!
