Manufacturer's Description
Turning Point: Fall of Liberty sees World War II take a catastrophic turn as a superior Nazi force attacks New York and goes on to take over the United States. As a civilian caught in the middle of these new battlegrounds, fight afresh against the world’s most notorious war machine on the streets of Manhattan, Washington DC, and beyond. Use guerrilla tactics and the surroundings to overcome superior post-war Axis weaponry and fight the Occupation. Delivering both wartime authenticity and a fresh perspective through an intense, action-driven storyline, Turning Point: Fall of Liberty makes war personal and relevant. Presenting this scenario as a powerful and realistically crafted alternate history, Turning Point: Fall of Liberty, delivers an explosive first person shooter experience in a world where famous real-world locations appear startlingly different under Nazi occupation.

VERY DIRE GAME!!!!!!!
I BOUGHT THIS GAME NOT KNOWING WHAT TO EXPECT,AFTER PLAYING IT FOR ABOUT 4 HRS I MUST SAY IT IS A VERY SIMPLE GRAPHIC GAME WITH NOT TOO MUCH CARE BEING TAKEN INTO IT.THE AIMING IS POOR THE FIGHTING SEQUENCES ARE VERY STRANGE AND SIMPLE (IF YOU CAN FIND YOUR WAY ROUND).ALL IN ALL I FOUND THIS GAME VERY TEDIOUS.
turning point. give the game a chance!
yep, the game has nothing ground breaking but the gameplay is there. it just keeps you coming back for more. i have had it a week now and im still playing it, nice features like grabbing an enemy and using him as a shield and when your'e done with him throw him to the ground and rob his gun. planting explosives on tanks, hiding in shadows to avoid being seen by blips. plenty of climbing and jumping involved and some pretty nice weapons to get your hands on. graphics aren,t brill but they serve their purpose and for people who say they are ps1 or ps2 graphics need to get thier head examined. with regards to the online gaming i can,t rate it because for some reason there are never any servers available!
if you can find this game at a nice price i would recommend it.
Great idea! But not a great game
I was really looking forward to get my hands on this game, as I believe it's concept of the second world war continuing is an excellent idea.
The gameplay isn't too bad, but it could be much better. The game seems uncomplete as there isn't even a radar allowing you to find your way to the objective, and the only way to findout your next objective is to look on the start menu.
The graphics and controls aren't bad, but when following other characters during gameplay, they tend to disappear in thin air and as mentioned earlier it is so easy to get lost in the small maps as there isn't a radar.
The game is still enjoyable, but it could have been so much better. I'd recomend Freedom Fighters on the PS2/XBOX as a better alternative.
